Nine people, including a family with two young children, their caregiver, two friends and two pilots, died when a Learjet 60 crashed in Greenacres, Florida, on November 1, 2026. The aircraft was flying from Austin, Texas, to North Eleuthera in the Bahamas when it went down near West Palm Beach. Among those killed was technology entrepreneur Adam Robinson, founder and chief executive of Retention.com and RB2b. His wife, Helen Sharp, who had led the public relations firm Influential PR and was developing a ceramics business, also died. The couple were travelling with their children, four-year-old Emma and two-year-old Charlie, whom relatives remembered as the centre of their parents’ lives. Their caregiver, Anita Maria Cetina, was also killed, and the family paid tribute to her devotion to the children. Fellow passengers Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr were remembered by relatives as partners who shared a love of adventure. Co-pilot Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, 20, of Boca Raton, had earned her pilot’s licence while still in high school, according to reporting confirmed by her family. The captain was identified as Jeff Gregory, 55, of Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, by his former employer, East Coast Jets.
