RIP Boris. An obituary: an exhausted homing pigeon popped in one day, and we took such good care of him we thought he would never leave. It's been a great couple of months, everyday coming home from work and he's there waiting for us to top up his water and wholemeal rice, and to sometimes try and catch him but never succeed - he was too quick for us. But he's gone now. Maybe he flew home, maybe he was eaten by a hawk, who knows. Who cares.
