I just found out this thing has a sodding flat matte finish, no embossing or debossing. I mean seriously no wonder no one has replied to any of my comments asking about the finish. It's like they didn't want people to know. I think I don't want mine anymore. Not for £100.

Love this film. Part 5 is one of my biggest ever disappointments but this one looks amazing in 4K and the other 3 are entertaining

Andy Burnham says he is open to formally apologising for the slave trade and even paying reparations. In my latest piece for our 90,000 readers I explain why this is a terrible idea. Link in Bio or Story.

If you’re stretching your hip flexors, check if you’re making this common mistake. You get into your favorite stretch, usually some kind of lunge, and judge it by the angle between your trunk and thigh, and since it looks deep and feels intense, you assume it’s working. But there’s a piece missing, because between your trunk and thigh sits your pelvis, which moves on its own. If you measure the angle between your pelvis and thigh instead, you’ll often see that the hip isn’t really in extension, so even though you feel tension, it isn’t hitting your hip flexors. Instead, bring your back leg slightly forward to take off some tension and free up your pelvis, and then tuck your pelvis under. That tuck is what creates the hip extension, because when the leg is fixed, you can extend the hip by rotating the pelvis around the head of the femur. If you look at the angles again, you’ll see that even though the leg is less far back, the hip is more extended, which means the stretch is finally targeting what you wanted. Now keep that pelvis position and do your work from there.
