Off to Mexico City and couldn’t be more excited! Big thanks to my daughter @sylviaa.grimes for using her talent for composition and lighting to capture this flattering photo on the early morning airport shuttle.

Entering my fave day of #LiformeLineIntoFlow
letting our inner stars align ✨✨✨
trusting our strength 💪🏼
and taking flight 🕊️

Something I often like to teach in my power yoga classes are supine or seated versions of flying poses, like a supine one sided crow, or a seated side crow, so my students can see that the flexibility is not “the problem” not strength after going through many chaturangas & planks. Most of time, it’s fear being on the way. Fear of failing in front of others. Fear of falling. So, sometimes I show myself falling, intentionally, giving tips on how to fall without hurting yourself.

Falling is part of the process.
Even for baby birds.

We don’t have wings.
But we have a hell out of faith & creativity.
And that, my friends, takes us higher!
