I am beyond honored to share that I was awarded the 2022 President’s Medallion for the School of Communication!
It was already an accomplishment in itself to have been nominated for this award by my Academic Dean and Professors, but to have been chosen as the recipient from the SOC is so surreal.
My biggest shoutout goes out to my family, because without their endless support, I wouldn’t be in the position I am in today. I am most excited to share this achievement with my Papa Leo, who began my family’s history at Loyola 62 years ago. My family’s legacy began with my grandpa graduating from Loyola’s Dental School in 1960, following my mom graduating in 1987, from the School of Business, then my cousin Andrew graduating in 2010, also from the School of Communication! I am grateful that I have gotten to continue my family’s legacy and leave my mark at this school through this prestigious recognition. The experiences Loyola has offered me has helped me flourish in all aspects of my life. I will always remember my time here and uphold the values that Loyola has instilled in me as I go onward!
