Yall snowflakes in the comments are annoying. First off, you feel bad for the mouse but not the worms? Insects are still part of the animal kingdom you hypocritical mfs if we really gonna go by your logic. Second, large frogs eat small animals other than bugs like rodents, snakes, other frogs etc. It's no different than if they were feeding the mouse to a snake, which I can predict you would be perfectly fine with since mice are part of a snakes diet but can't possibly be eaten by giant frogs right? It's the food chain, deal with it. Our pets are still animals and need to eat their own diets same as us and the animals in the wild.
