I’d been wanting to do another one of these but with white denim, and when the logo removal on this sweatshirt went sideways, it was the perfect excuse. I don’t have a class for this but I do have a tutorial on my YouTube about upcycling a sweatshirt and this denim weaving technique is one part I walk through. I did an experiment on this one though, where rather than using my usual zigzag to sew down the strips, I did a 2-thread coverstitch on my @berninausa L890 Overlock/coverstitch machine and it worked super well. Except when I decided to individually tie off every thread on the inside 😅. This is one of my favorite ways to cover up a logo or stain or revive a boring old sweatshirt. And yes, it holds up in the wash if you don’t my way.
Let the record reflect, I said what I said back in January. And look what happened. @keishabottoms is Governor along with leadership by 7 other Black Women! 🥳🥳🥳 A lot of folks were doubters. And today, you’re quiet. But we haven’t forgotten. Nope!!!

A new U.S. bill would permanently prohibit large AI data centers from public lands and require existing facilities to be removed. 🏛️🤖 The proposed legislation would block qualifying AI data centers from federal property and require existing facilities, along with dedicated power, water, and cooling infrastructure, to be removed and affected land restored. Supporters cite concerns about electricity, water use, and public resources. The proposal would apply broadly, including some Defense Department land, but it has not become law. #photography #ArtificialIntelligence #DataCenters References: U.S. Congress: Proposed Legislation Would Restrict Large Artificial Intelligence Data Centers on Federal Lands and Require Restoration of Affected Public Property.
