This month we want to showcase the work of talented Black female and queer photographers in the film community!

Next is Jessica @fbvisualss ! We asked them to tell us about their film journey.

“My name is Jess and I am an analogue photographer based in Brooklyn, NY specializing in portrait and lifestyle photography. My style has been described as intimate, vibrant, and poetic, working to showcase the richness and beauty of brown skin. Although I have had a creative eye my whole life, my photography journey started in 2020 and has since evolved into what you see today. Through my work I hope to continue to highlight not only Black lives, but the feelings found in people’s everyday stories of living, creation, and love.”
