At home they call it Trini soca. In Trinidad they say it isn't. TH3RD says he doesn't fit in, so he's "in the Caribbean Sea, just paddling." His bigger point: nobody makes enough money to close off each other. Why can't we just push good music? @theonlyth3rd đŸŽ™ïž Full episode out now! It’s officially BABY MONTH. đŸ„č Everyone’s counting down until they get to hold the baby. I’m counting down until I can breathe and roll over without making it a whole event. It’s crazy, it doesn’t matter how many children I have, the nerves of delivery and fear of the unknown creep in on you. But the biggest key now is patience. Studies show labor tends to be shorter when started naturally. And women who went into labor spontaneously had lower rates of medical interventions
but why does the last few weeks feel like a whole other trimester? I can’t wait to have this little one. Come on November baby!! Who else is due this year?? Or next! đŸ€©. Any advice on the waiting game đŸ˜”â€đŸ’«â€Š #pregnant #family #funny #letsdothis

“Where are all the women?” Rayna Vallandingham grew up looking for pieces of herself in action. She found them in Bruce Lee’s speed, Michelle Yeoh’s presence, Kill Bill’s Beatrix Kiddo and the video games she spent her childhood playing. A 13-time world champion and fourth-degree black belt, Vallandingham had been practising martial arts long before acting entered the picture. Now, after roles in Cobra Kai and Citadel, one of those childhood worlds is becoming her own as she steps into the upcoming Street Fighter as Juli. “I want to be the first black-belt female martial artist who is able to do all of her own fight choreography on the big screen and mainstream media,” Vallandingham shares. It is an ambition informed by the women who opened doors before her, but also by what she still finds missing. One of the first things you can trust an adult bully to do is attempt to turn the people connected to you against you. And they’ll usually start with the people they believe they have more relational influence over. At work, it’s the coworker who’s been there longer and starts planting seeds about you before people have a chance to know you for themselves. In families, it’s the relative who doesn’t like you and makes it their personal mission to influence how everyone else receives you. In friendships, it’s the person who quietly creates a narrative about you to ensure you’re never fully embraced by the group. The objective is often the same: EXCLUSION. And sometimes, the most uncomfortable truth is that you haven’t actually done anything to these people. Your confidence, your presence, the way you carry yourself, or even the way others naturally love and respect you can trigger insecurities they haven’t confronted within themselves. Rather than examine why your existence makes them uncomfortable, they attempt to make everyone else uncomfortable with you, too. Because if they can convince people that you’re the problem, they never have to confront the possibility that the problem is their own insecurity. And that’s what makes this form of adult bullying so manipulative. They don’t always attack you directly. Sometimes they attack your reputation, your relationships, and your opportunities to belong. They manufacture a reason to resent you because admitting they’re intimidated by you would require a level of self-awareness they haven’t developed. Pay attention to people who need an audience to justify their dislike of someone. Sometimes they’re not warning people about a problem. They’re recruiting people into their own unresolved issues.
