December 13, 2023, I walked out of federal prison. Tomorrow night, I could be elected to Congress. Prison to Congress in less than three years. Let that sink in.

As this campaign comes to a close, it’s bittersweet. I’m humbled by this journey, but even more humbled by YOU. You gave me this voice. You built this platform. None of this would have been possible without your love and support.

I ran because I got tired of the system screwing everybody business owners, veterans, children, seniors, and hardworking families. I know what it feels like to have no voice. And once you gave me one, I knew I had a responsibility to use it.

I know how to fight. And I couldn’t keep waiting for somebody else to stand up for us.

Thank you for believing in me, standing beside me, and giving me a chance to fight for you.

Whatever happens tomorrow night, this fight continues. Win or lose, Wednesday morning at 5:45 a.m., you’ll see me right back here. Speaking up. Showing up. Fighting.

I’ve got events coming over the next several weeks and months, plus a major announcement coming Wednesday and Thursday. Stay tuned. We have a lot more ahead of us.

God bless you. I love you all. And thank you for everything. ❤️🇺🇸

MAKE VEGAS VEGAS AGAIN.

a rare appearance

“In Jodhpur, when a girl starts modelling, everyone seems to have an opinion. ‘Yeh kaise kapde pehen rahi hai? Kahan jaa rahi hai? Kaun si ladki aisa karti hai?’

But my parents never saw my work that way. In fact, Papa was my biggest cheerleader. He would tell me, ‘Main tujhe Bombay bhej dunga. Tu TV mein kaam karna.’

For me, modelling was more than just a career I was trying to build. It was a dream my father was just as excited about as I was.

But in 2020, I lost him to an illness. And suddenly, the dream didn’t feel the same anymore. I couldn’t bring myself to continue. I walked away from modelling completely. For three years, I kept nothing from that life.

Mummy never forced me to return. She didn’t give me big speeches or tell me to be strong. She would simply remind me, ‘Tu kaam kar. Tujhe pasand hai na? Jo hoga dekha jayega.’

Perhaps she knew I needed time. And when I was finally ready, she supported me by saying, ‘Mehnat kar, sab sahi hoga.’

She was right. Slowly, things began falling into place. I became a finalist at Elite Miss Rajasthan and even had my first T-Series song release!

Then came a jewellery shoot. I thought it was just another assignment. I had no idea that my pictures would soon be put up on banners across Jodhpur. When my sister video-called me from the road, screaming that my face was on a huge banner, I could barely believe it.

I decided to surprise Mummy. I didn’t even dress up because I didn’t want her to suspect anything. I just took her there. The moment she saw the banner, she couldn’t stop smiling. She kept looking up at my picture, admiring how big it was, how beautiful I looked, and how everyone in the city must have seen it.

I stood there watching her, and all I could think was, ‘Kaash Papa ye dekhne ke liye hote.’ He was the one who first made me believe I could do this. I know he would have sent that picture to every person he knew.

I couldn’t share this moment with him. But I got to share it with the person who helped me find my way back. And that day, as she stood looking up at my picture, I felt like both of them were a part of that moment.”
