Democrats are projected to take control of both the United States House of Representatives and the Senate following the 2026 midterm elections, dealing a major political blow to President Donald Trump and the Republican Party. Democrats are projected to win around 255 seats in the House, well above the 218 needed for a majority, marking their return to power after four years. The victory will give Democrats the power to investigate Trump’s administration, including his immigration policies, business dealings and cryptocurrency ventures. Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries is also expected to become the first Black Speaker of the House when the new Congress takes office on January 3, 2027. The results come amid growing public dissatisfaction with Trump’s policies, including immigration crackdowns, rising living costs and the war with Iran.

Not my line, but had to borrow it, cause it is my take 😭 Call me crazy but I don’t think the affordability problem, this war, the usury model, crony capitalism, private equity greed, ai / tech bubbles, high rates, etc get solved overnight by this.
Transition update 2.0 🤍 My first surgery is done. Three weeks after my chest surgery I can move again and I start feeling so much better. It was rough, but it was what it was. The next big step is my facial feminization surgery this winter: brow bone, forehead, hairline, nose, lip, chin, Adam's apple and finally a new voice. I wrote with 30 clinics, had a lot of consultations, and I found a doctor in India who opened his transgender clinic 20 years ago. I feel in very good hands. I saved some money, but it's not enough. Every donation brings me closer. The link to my fundraiser is in my bio. Everyone who donates gets access to my private journey diary with the long videos. And if you ever wanted a tattoo session or custom art from me: right now is your chance. Thank you to every single one of you who already supported me 🤍 #transgender #transwoman #mtf #transjourney #ffs #facialfeminization #genderaffirmingsurgery #tattooed #bodymodification
