This, and the internet was never invented.
📱
I’ve often wondered whether life before the internet was better. Simpler, certainly. There seemed to be less noise in our lives, fewer distractions, and perhaps a little more peace in our minds. We weren’t constantly bombarded with information and opinions, chasing cheap dopamine hits with mind numbing scrolling. We had more time to ourselves, more time for one another, and perhaps a greater appreciation for the simple pleasures in life.
💻
The internet has undoubtedly given us extraordinary things, but I can’t help wondering what we’ve lost along the way. We spend so much of our lives staring at screens, often at the expense of the people around us. We have become hermits, preferring to binge on Netflix than to go out and laugh over a drink with friends and strangers. There’s irony in the fact that, in a world that’s never been more connected, we somehow seem to have become more disconnected from one another. Perhaps progress has given us a great deal, but sometimes I wonder whether a quieter, slower, more human way of living might have been worth holding on to.
What do you think?

Mr. Bean is a fictional character created and portrayed by British comedian Rowan Atkinson in a long-running comedy television series that first aired in 1990. The character is a childlike, eccentric man who rarely speaks, relying instead on exaggerated facial expressions, physical slapstick, and inventive problem-solving to navigate everyday situations that quickly spiral into chaos. Living alone in a small flat with his teddy bear companion, Mr. Bean approaches the world with a mix of innocence, mischief, and single-minded determination, often causing more trouble than he solves while remaining oddly endearing.

The series, which ran for 15 episodes across two series plus specials, became a global phenomenon thanks to its largely silent, visual style that transcended language barriers. Atkinson’s precise physical performance turned ordinary tasks—such as parking a car, going to the beach, or attending church—into elaborate comic set pieces. Mr. Bean’s popularity led to two feature films, animated series, and countless merchandise, cementing the character as one of the most recognizable and beloved figures in British comedy.

✨3 phases of weight loss:

1) 12-15# down with 7 months of “doing all the right things” (late March - late Oct 2025).

2) 12-15# with a GLP1 (late Oct 2025 - early Jan 2026) and lost basically only muscle... 👀

3) 36# DOWN without a GLP-1 ... Plus the GLOW UP of my life + total body recomposition with muscle and strength. (Jan - July 2026)

✨FRIENDS.... Read these stories (shared from my insta page)....

... this is the only “before and after” I’ve posted because honestly the “before” makes me INCREDIBLY emotional.

It was such a dark, hard season of my life. 😭

... Not only was I incredibly overweight...
... I was struggling SO HARD with mental health stuff...
... marriage stuff
... chronic-sick-kid stuff
... not sleeping through the night hardly ever...
... insulin resistance
... lost my identity entirely

🔥AND IN THIS before PIC I was working out EVERYDAY, cold plunging, taking $1000 worth of supplements a month...

The toll this level of stress takes on your body as a woman is W-I-L-D.

Tonight I’m sharing THE WHOLE STORY.... including stuff I haven’t ever shared publicly. Like “all the life updates”....

If you’d like an invite, comment STORY below and we’ll get you the link!

Can’t wait to see you there.

XO,
J 💙
