A Ghost at our Cottage… 👻

Well, it is Halloween after all… so I thought it might be the perfect opportunity to share a few of our rather curious experiences with the unexplained.

We live in a farmhouse dating back to 1719 and I’ve always felt a presence here, nothing sinister, thankfully.

The old curator at the Castle confirmed that ours isn’t the only farm steading on the Raby estate where the television has been known to switch itself on at 3am, at full volume, for absolutely no apparent reason!

I’ve had two rather curious experiences while working as a room guide at the castle, both in my favourite room. On the first occasion, I felt a very firm tug on the back of my blazer. I actually gasped, thinking I’d caught it on an ornament or the door handle, but I was nowhere near either. It felt rather mischievous and playful and, strangely enough, I wasn’t frightened at all.

On another occasion, in that very same room, I caught sight of what looked like a ghostly reflection in a bookcase.

But perhaps my strangest experience happened many years ago, shortly after my mum passed away. While visiting a customer, I saw a gentleman standing beside her table, quite clearly, folding newspapers. I described exactly what I’d seen to the lady, who immediately recognised him as her late husband. She told me that he used to fold his newspapers in precisely that spot. I’d never met him.

Now, I don’t pretend to have all the answers, but I’ve certainly experienced a few things over the years that I simply can’t explain.

Our little ghostly visitor today was just for a bit of Halloween fun, but Daisy certainly took to her role beautifully, and I think you’ll agree she rather stole the show 👻

Are you a believer? Have you ever experienced something you simply couldn’t explain? Do share them in the comments, I’d be fascinated to read your stories too.

Happy Halloween from our little corner of the countryside 🎃👻🍂

13 FREE music videos changed my life 🎥

Sometimes all it takes is believing in one artist, trusting @8peceo’s vision, and taking a chance before the money comes.

What started as working for free turned into opportunities I never imagined. Forever grateful for the journey. Thank you Ocho and Heembeezy 🙏🏼

Halloweekend with my girls 🎃❤️

The most random October recap because I’m honestly too tired to put together a better one right now: two weddings, home life, London, Paris (twice), and a few outfit moments. I’m very ready to be in LA for a little while, get back into my routine, and have some fun things to look forward to in LA and NY next week 😬

Thanks to President Trump, we delivered on cutting your taxes!
