I can’t believe I took this in the wild. This is just one of the turtles (but the best pic) we saw and swam with (from a very safe and respectful distance)! 🐢🌺🌋

Well, it’s reveal time!
The secret I’ve been keeping from you guys..
I guess, it’s time to let out now?

A tiny part of me, that I always keep for myself… is my poetry! Yes yes I write poetry & proudly call myself a poet around my friends! It’s a part of me I discovered naturally I guess through the rough times in life, where writing made me feel at ease, gave me more clarity, and made me find the beauty in life…
Now you will say, why don’t you share some?
Maybe I will, maybe not
It’s just that, everything about my life is out here to be complimented or criticised, & that’s completely fine as it helps me grow..
But poetry?
I want to flow while I write it.
Forget about the world,
& listen to my heart..
Maybe that’s a part of me
That reminds me of who I am 🖤

So maybe, someday
This poet will put out a part of her
Out & about into the world..
Maybe someday, I’ll let you read
The words I’ve never said out loud.
Until then, this little poet
Asks for a promise,
To be kind & gentle..
To yourself & others too,
For life’s all about
Staying true..

Yours,
bb 🐯

Checked out another restaurant from @kei.concepts

The moment I looked at the @quadining menu I already knew I had to come back again to try more stuff. These are what I got on my first visit.

- Chili Crunch Burrata: roasted chili jam, hot honey chili crunch, crispy onion, pickled shallot, with Chinese donuts to dip with. So good

- BBQ Pork Puff Pastry. I could have eaten two orders myself. I would go back just for this

- Dan Dan Sesame Noodle: ground pork, house chili crunch, cucumber, scallion

- Crispy Shrimp Red Rice Roll

- Pineapple Butter Cake: fresh pineapple, butter toffee, shortcake crumble, vanilla ice cream

I’m still trying to navigate this stage of parenting and, yeah, she might hate me for it right now 😂 but with everything I know about children’s mental health and the relationship between screens and our wellbeing, I feel like I’m making the right decision.

I don’t want her growing up feeling like she needs to be glued to a phone or having access to things she’s not ready to process bc that’s some scary sh*t.

And don’t get me wrong, I know it’s important for her to learn how to create her own boundaries with screen time but I think that can come a little later.

She’s 11. I’m in no rush to give her the internet❤️

That little girl didn’t have a blueprint.

She had a family who sacrificed everything to give her a chance, a father who believed in her before she had anything to show for it, and a heart that already knew she was meant for more.

She carried a lot for someone so small.

She learned early how to be the strong one, the responsible one, the one who made everyone proud.

Somewhere along the way, she forgot that she was allowed to be held too.

Every version of me is still in there.

And the work I’ve done over the last five years has been about going back for her, healing what she carried, and becoming the woman she always knew we’d be.

If you’re a first gen daughter reading this, I see you.

You’ve been building a life for everyone who came before you and everyone who comes after you.

It’s time to build one for you too.

That’s what the Renaissance Soirée is.

One day at The Plaza to release what your younger self carried and step into the woman she’s been waiting for you to become.

5 days.

Comment or DM “PLAZA” and I’ll send you everything.

To the little girl in Queens: we made it. And we’re just getting started.

Thank you Allah. More please 🤲🏽

xoxo

Pesepeda alami kritis usai terjatuh di terowongan Kemayoran arah Sunter, Jakarta Utara pada Jumat (30/10/2026) malam. Pesepeda itu diduga terjatuh karena jalan yang berlubang dan bergelombang.

Informasi itu disampaikan oleh komunitas Bike to Work melalui akun Instagram @/b2w_indonesia.
