☝🏼 “𝐈 𝐜𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫” ❤️‍🩹😰 Dibu Martínez shows how he can’t close his hand properly as this injury affected him with pain during the last World Cup 😩 “On a scale of 1 to 10, my finger affected me 10/10. Until the day before the Algeria game, I was 𝐃𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐌, 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐀 𝐙𝐎𝐌𝐁𝐈𝐄”, told @losedul_ in an interview. 🧟‍♂️ “Every time I put my hand down, I saw stars from the pain” 🌠 “𝐈 𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐃 𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐋 𝐌𝐈𝐃𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐂𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐌𝐘 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐒𝐖𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄 𝐀 𝐒𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐀𝐆𝐄”. “If a ball had hit me directly on the fingertip, my entire finger could have exploded. Every time a ball came towards me, I prayed my finger wouldn’t pop out of place”. “𝐈 𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐈 𝐏𝐔𝐓 𝐌𝐘 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐑 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄 𝐌𝐘 𝐆𝐋𝐎𝐕𝐄. Happy Birthday Ru. Our everything Choose the one who is kind. There’s a strength in kindness. It doesn’t ask to be seen. It simply is, holding the world together behind the curtain. Be brave enough to notice it. To look beyond the surface, beyond the gloss and glitter. The universe has a way of bringing hearts home to one another. Have the courage to feel it when it finds you. Leap towards tenderness. Towards the love that softens you, not sharpens you. Feel more than seems reasonable. Care more than seems safe. Love with a heart left open; raw, real, ready. Be bold in love. Choose joy, choose warmth. Choose the kind of love that feels like truth and safety all at once. And no, safety isn’t boring. It’s someone who sees you, all of you, and still draws you close. A love that gives you space to be your messy, beautiful, unpredictable self. The kind of love that makes every past goodbye make sense. Choose the love that feels like home. The kind where you say “I love you” not because you have to, but because you can’t help it. Say it often. Say it freely. Hold their hand just to remember they’re real. Match your steps with theirs. Walk in the rhythm of their shadow. Choose the love that doesn’t control or demand, but listens and lets you breathe. The love that makes room for you to become more yourself, not less. Let some connections pass. Let them float in and out like the weather. But when the right one comes, the kind one, the good one, don’t hold back. Crash into it. Root yourself in it. And know this: What is meant for you won’t ever be lost.
