Colorado trip recap!! 🏔️ So fun being back in Colorado and showing the girls a place that holds so many memories from our 20’s! For those who are newer here - Bryce and I met and started dating in college back here in Minnesota. Once we graduated, we packed up our little cars with all we had and moved out to Colorado, kind of on a whim - no jobs and no place to live. I picked a state I knew would have good snowboarding and a pretty change of scenery hoping that Bryce would pick up boarding quickly and love it too (of course he did). I never had been to CO before nor had I even seen mountains (more of a beach girl personally) but I loved it. We got there and settled in, and ended up not leaving for 5.5 years! We were both shocked at how much we loved the people and the beautiful state. We spent so many weekends snowboarding, hiking, backpacking, camping, brewery touring, rooftop drinking, skyline city pools, and mountain cabin nights in hot tubs with friends. I really couldn’t have imagined a better time in my 20’s. I launched my photography business while in CO before moving back closer to our families in 2019, right before the COVID and lockdown. This is when we got decided to settle in more and build a future - marriage, house and kids. This time feels like a lifetime ago, but so many memories flood back in when we walk the same streets and see those familiar peaks. One of my favorite parts of having my daughters has been seeing places for the first time again through their eyes, and that’s what this trip felt like. Ozzy had been once before, but neither had been up to my favorite ski resort or gotten to experience it together. Trips like this make me really appreciate how far we’ve come, how different your life can look based on little decisions like where you should live. How cool is it that I get to have these tiny travel besties with me for years to come?!!! 🤎🙌🏼 Places we went & love @crema_dnvr @fotmpdx @sweetcowicecream @tennstreetcoffee @childrensmuseumdenver @sexypizza @fsvail @atomicstays @yetisgrind @zunistreetbrewing @bluesparrowcoffee @denvermuseumns @lingerdenver @dencentralmkt @huckleberryroasters
Your most asked questions, answered 👇 🎮 Is this real gameplay or AI footage? It’s a real game. The clips come from the build itself. A full playthrough video is coming soon. 🛠 Do you use AI? Yes, as tools. Claude Code for coding, ElevenLabs for sound effects, Tripo for 3D models. I make the game solo. 🧟 Is it like Project Zomboid? Inspired by Kenshi, RimWorld, RDR2, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Project Zomboid, but it’s its own game. Built for an isometric view, with first-person play planned too. 🗓 When is the release? Closed playtest in December. Full release hopefully in April 2027. The sign-up link is in my profile. 🖥 Steam? Yes, coming soon. 📱 Mobile and consoles? PC first, then a reduced mobile version. Consoles may come after release, no promises. 🤝 Multiplayer? Co-op for 4–8 players first. Each player can host their own server. More later. ⚙️ Why does it lag? It runs on raw, unoptimized code right now, and the snow system is heavy. I’ll optimize before release. 🎶 Collaborations? Not right now. I’m building the core solo first, and a team later if it makes sense. 🔗 Discord, Patreon and the playtest link are all in my profile. #survivalgame #zombiegame #indiegame #godot #gamedev

Me quedé sin palabras. The NYC Marathon was once an inconceivable dream of mine. I cheered on marathoners for years never thinking that could or would be me. How lucky am I to have been so wrong ❤️ My first marathon, and the first in my family. This race was for them, in honor of their story of migration to the best city in the world. They touched down in Queens, got married in Brooklyn, my mom worked in the Bronx, and I’ve planted roots in Harlem. I took a run not only through NYC but through my family’s journey here. Their grit has always reassured me that soy capaz de lo que sea, even when at times, I don’t believe it myself. What an honor it was to raise money for @nylagnews. Now more than ever, legal aid is so needed, especially for our immigrant New Yorkers I’m so thankful for all the love and support. Ayer, ustedes y esta ciudad me dieron un abrazote que jamás olvidaré First in my bloodline to say I’m a MF MARATHONER!!!!! Qué locura! 🗽🪽 Special agradecimiento to my running family @pasorunclub @svintsrunclub @palmasny. You’ve turned miles into moments I could never forget @jorge.photog behind the lens of course 🫶🏽
