Over the past few days, I competed in both the men’s doubles and mixed doubles at the ITF World Tennis Masters Tour MT400. Thanks to my amazing partners, we managed to finish as runners-up! The funny thing is, the only things you get for finishing first or second are a piece of paper and ranking points. 🤣 So my thoughtful mixed doubles partner even prepared a medal for me. Now that’s what I call a proper sense of occasion! 😂 Before today’s match, my racquet strings broke. And being the amateur that I am, I had only brought one racquet, so I had to borrow someone else’s. I didn’t play particularly well today, so I guess I’ll just blame the racquet. 🤣🤣 Otherwise, we would’ve been champions! Haha. Never mind, there’s always next time. 🎾

Watch our full interview on YouTube/DeclassifiedUK The UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, has singled out the BBC as one of the worst offenders in terms of propagating Israeli narratives, and not allowing Palestinian guests to talk about the suffering of their people. Albanese told us that the BBC and UK government are wrong to claim that we have to wait for the ICJ ruling to determine whether Israel has committed genocide - and that Britain has a duty to prevent genocide.
Forgiving and letting go are less about absolving someone of their wrongdoing and more about finding our own peace. We deserve a chance to live beyond the hurt their actions have caused. But forgiving doesn’t mean forgetting. We can remember what happened, set firm boundaries and protect ourselves from repeated harm. Forgiveness needn’t mean restoring trust or allowing someone back into our lives. It doesn’t remove accountability either. We may still need to take action against the wrong that was done, including legal action if necessary. And yes, some experiences are so traumatic that forgiveness may feel difficult or even impossible. That is okay too. We don’t need to force ourselves to forgive or feel guilty for not being ready. We deserve safety, support and peace, wherever we are in our healing 🙏🏻 #Forgiveness #InnerPeace #Healing #GaurGopalDas #YouCanHaveItAll [Gaur Gopal Das, Monkify, You Can Have It All, Forgiveness, Inner Peace, Peace, Healing, Resentment, Accountability, Inner Strength, Mental Wellbeing]
If you're active on social media, there is a good chance you have come across this man. In recent weeks, the Namdaemun scarf seller has become an unlikely online sensation, drawing attention for his witty exchanges with customers. Known online as "Namdaemun scarf man," he runs a shop called Hanyangsa at Namdaemun Market, South Korea's oldest and largest traditional market. He sells scarves from an outdoor display, where shoppers can pick any six for 10,000 won ($7.50). His quick wit and an unconventional sales pitch have become his trademark. Speaking in an apparent Chungcheong dialect, the merchant casually addresses his mostly middle-aged women customers as "mom" or "sis," jokingly trying to talk them out of buying his scarves -- saying the scarves are not worth their time and effort and they probably wouldn't wear them anyway. Click link in bio to read full story by Choi Jae-hee
