P5 IN THE KYOJO CUP CHAMPIONSHIP.

After having to start the final race from the back of the grid, we managed to make up 11 positions. It was a tough way to finish the weekend.

It was a weekend filled with emotions and lessons. Not scoring the points we needed was disappointing, but that’s part of racing. Sometimes it gives you everything to smile about, and other times it tests you in ways you never expected.

New championship, new car, new track, new tyres and a new team. I can happily say that this year I achieved everything I set out to do, and more.

Coming from another series, there were definitely gaps in my driving that I needed to work on. KYOJO Cup gave me the opportunity to really focus on my development, and through that, I found myself fighting for a championship title! It was the first time I’ve been in that position, all while being only in my second FULL year of single-seaters.

But there’s so much more I’ll take away from this season than just the results.

Racing in Japan was a completely different experience. From the cars and rules to the atmosphere and racing culture, there was so much to adapt to and learn. I genuinely had so much fun being part of this championship, and I couldn’t have asked for a better fit for where I was in my career.

Something I think can easily get lost in motorsport is simply enjoying the moment. It’s such an intense sport, and sometimes you get so caught up in the pressure, expectations and results that you forget why you started in the first place.

This championship reminded me of that. I was able to enjoy the racing, the experiences and everything that came with being in Japan. And I feel like when I did that, the results started to follow.

A huge thank you to my sponsors for making this possible. And my team for their efforts and making me feel so welcomed. To all the Aussies who watched from home and believed in me, it genuinely meant so much. And to the Japanese fans, your enthusiasm and support throughout every race weekend made the experience even more special. ❤️

Unfortunately Instagram keeps flagging posts as unoriginal so I’ve started writing bigger paragraphs underneath everything to try and stop it happening. Had a few posts get caught by it the other day and had to delete them which is why I’m doing this now. You’ve probably noticed loads of accounts suddenly putting massive AI captions under posts for the same reason. I’d rather just write my own rubbish instead. Cheers for that Instagram.
