DEEPEST FEAR by @itszvk

MUSIC VIDEO OUT NOW

‘‘Deepest Fear‘ is an interpolation of Marianne Williamson’s poem ‚Our Deepest Fear‘, which ultimately is a poem about embracing how powerful, worthy and great we are when we don’t allow fear to hinder our purpose.

This song came about a few years ago during a period where I was battling feelings and insecurities around inadequacy and not being good enough. At the time I had spent over a year receiving a lot of rejection from job opportunities and people, which had left me feeling quite isolated mentally - and with high expectations from the people around me, this also brought feelings of frustration and shame.

It is no secret men have issues with acknowledging when they have issues mentally, so actually saying that I’m proud to admit I have insecurities around these things has been really liberating for me and has resonated with other people.’
