Just turned 22… What a year…
•
This past year had truly been one for the books for me. I’ve been blessed with so many opportunities, I’ve been recognized for my hard work, and I got to spend it with amazing friends and family who push me to strive for greatness. Here’s a taste of this past year for Dylan.
•
I was elected as the 2022-2023 Student Body Vice President where I got to sit at the forefront of many issues affecting the student body. Whether that was leading the charge to bring football back at UTA which lead to a successful referendum vote (which I authored), advocating for the removal of E.H Hereford from our UC, Reestablishing the Graduate Student Council and Assembly of College Councils, serving on the UT Student Advisory Council, and working alongside my Leadership Team to make UTA better for its students.

Elected as the 2022 Homecoming King at UTA by my peers.
•
Recipient of the Kent Gardner Scholarship Award for Outstanding FSL Member
•
Recipient of AAFSA Maxwell Scarlett Outstanding Student Award for Outstanding African American Student Innovator
•
One of less than 150 students in the history of UTA to be admitted into the Order of Omega Undergraduate Greek Society.
•
Help led the Zeta Chi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. to National Convention in several categories, of which I participated in Debate and Scholars Bowl beating several other chapters around the state of Texas and local region. As well as serving our community through programs, community service, and support.

Started my first ever job in the Legal Industry by serving as a Legal Intake Specialist for a company partnering with several Law Firms in the DFW Metroplex.

This has honestly and truly been an amazing year for me. Without the support of the people around me, pushing me to strive for greatness, none of this might not be possible. So thank you for pushing and supporting me. Happy 22nd Birthday to Me
