No words can depict the emotional roller coaster that I’ve experienced within my last few weeks of my JO career. After a bitter sweet ending to say the least, I am more than grateful to have great coaches, teammates and friends to always support me. Thank you to Region 6 and thank you Alex for not only helping me grow as a gymnast, but guiding me to become the man I am today. I appreciate all you have done for me throughout my 12 years in this sport and It’s going to take some getting used to living this journey without you. However, I am extremely eager to begin my NCAA career and I can not wait for the next 4.

Words can’t even begin to express how proud I am of everything you’ve accomplished over the years. There will be a huge adjustment to be had for me that’s for sure. In our time together as your coach you became more than a student for me and my family. You became an older brother to my son, and a protector to my daughter who thinks the world of you. In the gym you were discipline, focused and hungry for the vision I had for you. On the competition floor you shine brighter than I could ever imagined. When you weren’t competing you gave back to the gymnastics community by means of judging, coaching and mentored your younger athletes to trust the process. As a coach what more could one ask for in an athlete. We will forever be family Luke if you ever need me you know I’ll be there. The journey has just begun my friend, go out there and use the tools we gave you to be great. ❤️ #myguy
