Children's Day holds immense significance in acknowledging and upholding the rights of children. It highlights the crucial need to offer them a secure and nurturing environment where they can flourish, learn, and develop.
Children symbolize many things, one of which is our relationship with the environment. Our connection to the environment can be likened to that of a mother and child. Just as a mother nurtures, feeds, and shelters her child, Mother Nature provides for us. In return, it is our duty to nurture and protect her. As humans, we are essentially children of Mother Nature. Hence, when we persistently neglect the well-being of our natural surroundings, we are ultimately causing harm to ourselves.
At Plogging Nigeria, we recognize children as the cornerstone of our future, and it is our mission to provide them with a safe environment and a sustainable planet to grow in. On this day, Plogging Nigeria joyfully celebrates both our future and the present.
Happy Children's Day!
