Nathan and I have one of the most magical and mystical coming together stories I know. ✨

As extraordinary as our meeting was an 8 year dark night of the soul then followed. It was rough. I was a single mom and corporate soldier. He was an unemployed graduate student living like a monk. Our lives couldn’t have been more different. 😬

We moved in together two weeks after meeting. We got married ten weeks later. We closed on our house two weeks after that. We pushed every imaginable button that the other had. 🎯

If there hadn’t been a marriage and a mortgage we would have both called it quits. It was hard. Really hard. ⛈️

But something in us knew to not give up. Being stuck was a gift. 🌱

For nearly seventeen years we have recommitted to our relationship as the greatest teacher we’ve ever encountered. Every trigger and judgement has served as a sacred demand for us to grow and expand. 🙏🏼
