To our representatives: This historic election is a call for meaningful change, from both parties. This blue wave doesn’t signify a return to petty politics as usual. There’s real work to be done, and we’re counting on you to do it! 🇺🇸

Demokraatit ovat saaneet murskavoiton Yhdysvaltain välivaaleissa. 🇺🇸🗳️ Puolue valtaa enemmistön sekä senaatissa että edustajainhuoneessa.

Republikaanien kärsimä tappio on historiallinen. Samalla tulos on merkittävä arvovaltahäviö presidentti Donald Trumpille. Presidentin suosio on laskenut muun muassa Iranin sodan takia.

Asiantuntijat ovat kuvailleet vaalitulosta käänteeksi Yhdysvaltain politiikassa.

Trump on sanonut hyväksyvänsä vaalituloksen ja olevansa valmis yhteistyöhön demokraattien kanssa.

Come on baby make it harm reduction so good.

Yes that is Carrie Fisher wearing an Israeli tee for Paul Simon’s tour. It’s like Princess Leia shopping at the Death Star gift shop.
I’m sorry I should’ve put a warning on it before showing this upsetting image. If you are waking up to Empire and your main culture is pop culture then there will be much pain and disappointment when you realize celebrities aren’t the best amongst us.

I couldn't find any evidence of Carrie speaking out against Israel later in her life. But we do contain multitudes and are largely operating unconsciously (at least under these patriarchal colonial systems) so just the fact that she helped create a story about rebels fighting an evil Empire and put it out there into the collective consciousness means some part of her knew what was right. But we are all terribly misaligned to some degree.......she types on an iPhone on a platform owned by a billionaire.

I still am going to use her likeness to spread the message of resistance and Matriarchy.
