If you’re an OG Nowitsclean bestie, you know that Dawn Platinum and @dawndishwash are my favourite cleaning products. From the kitchen to the bathroom to the laundry - both come in clutch when getting rid of greasy messes and dirt.

So when I had the opportunity to go into the laboratory and speak to the scientist who make this genius product I wanted to make sure I learned the science behind why it’s so great. Chemically speaking Dawn Ultra is jam packed with different types of surfactants (cleaning chemicals) that move quickly to get to grease fast and pull it off easier.

As for the Dawn Powerwash - it contains 3 extra cleaning boosters that are not present in Dawn Ultra. I can share two:
🧪A chelant which attacks calcium or metal ions. This is useful with removing caked on baked on foods.
🧪Higher pH - it’s more alkaline, making soils easier to be removed

With Powerwash you don’t need water to activate the suds. Spray on a dirty dish without adding water. Let the solvent in the suds break down the food particles. Scrub. Rinse and nowitsclean.
