SOME MEN AREN’T TRAINING FOR A BETTER BODY. THEY’RE TRAINING TO KEEP THEIR HEAD ABOVE WATER. 👊 And that’s something not everyone understands. For some of us, the gym is about far more than building muscle, losing body fat or looking good in the mirror. It’s the one place where the noise stops. Where the stress, the pressure, the disappointments and everything life throws at you can be put aside for an hour. Especially as men get older. We’ve all got battles we’re fighting that nobody knows about. Relationships. Financial pressure. Loss. Regret. The weight of expectations. And sometimes the hardest part isn’t lifting the weights. It’s finding the strength to keep showing up when everything else feels like it’s falling apart. Training won’t solve every problem in your life. But it can give you the strength, structure and clarity to face them. So next time you see a man training like his life depends on it… Maybe it does. Keep showing up. Keep fighting. Keep moving forward. You never know what someone else is carrying. 💯 #40PlusFitnessGuy #MenOver40 #MensMentalHealth #GymTherapy #KeepShowingUp
Mom Arrested at the point of Selling Her Baby for ₦1.5 Million cash-and-carry in Owerri A nursing mother has been arrested on Monday night, 2 of November in Owerri, Imo State, over an attempt to sell her baby for ₦1.5 million. According to Imo-based journalist Chidiebube Okeoma, he was contacted by an individual who claimed to have encountered the woman carrying a baby and heard her expressing her intention to sell the child. Okeoma said he advised the individual to pretend to be interested in purchasing the baby and arranged for them to meet at Rock View, near the Imo State Police Headquarters. He disclosed that upon arriving at the agreed location, he personally drove the woman and the individual who contacted him to the police station. During interrogation, the suspect blamed another woman, alleging that she had encouraged her to sell the baby. However, the woman accused of giving the advice denied the allegation. The nursing mother further claimed that she considered selling the child because she did not know the baby’s father and lacked the financial resources to cater for the child. Both women are in police custody as investigations into the incident continue.
