2 Corinthians 12:6
Being in this position where others have a high opinion of us can easily turn into a trap if the person concerned becomes conceited, proud.
The main objective of this person may simply be to tell the goodness of God ➡️ what he has done in his life ⬅️ but it would take a different turn when he will be seduced by the opinion that others have of himself.
Now knowing that God is a God who does not share his glory [ Isaiah 42:8 ] and can search the depth of hearts [ Jeremiah 17:10 ], would you think he would rejoice to know that the glory that belongs to him has been redirected?!
The apostle Paul was silent regarding the excellent revelations he experienced with God, lest he become proud. If one of the greatest disciples, finds it good and necessary to abstain from it, could one say that this one demonstrates wisdom?
In sum, I do not condemn the fact of sharing these things, but this is a reminder of the importance of always questioning yourself. Let us question our hearts by taking the time to think carefully about our hidden intentions when we decide to share certain testimonies. Let us remember that the main objective is that the glory be given to Jesus Christ, creator of unexplainable ways.
