I wanted to post some pictures of our local trendy beer joint and beloved business. It really is a tourist stop now and we are proud to know Brian the owner and brewmaster! If you are ever in the Lake Anna area, and love fresh local craft beer and surprisingly good food, give this place a try. It is accessible from both land and lake!

To everyone saying in the comments that SpiceJet offers cheap flights, let me clarify one thing …there was nothing cheap about our tickets! My own ticket cost ₹9,892, while many other passengers had paid ₹12,000, ₹15,000, ₹21,000 and even ₹30,000. The fares of other airlines were almost the same. The problem was that only IndiGo and SpiceJet operate on this route to Gorakhpur, and all IndiGo tickets were sold out. We had very limited options and were practically forced to book SpiceJet. So please don’t assume that we chose this airline because it was cheap! Despite paying such amounts, we faced repeated cancellations, endless rescheduling, no proper facilities and absolutely no accountability. What shocked me even more was what I learned at the ground level. I was told that employees were allegedly being kept in a room and pressured to continue working while dealing with angry passengers. I also came to know about reports of salaries being delayed for months. Imagine being financially and mentally exhausted yourself, yet being forced to handle hundreds of frustrated passengers. Passengers are losing their money, time and peace of mind, while ground-level employees are being left to face all the anger. Where are the senior authorities? Who is taking responsibility? This is not just about expensive tickets or cancelled flights anymore. It’s about passenger rights, employee welfare and basic accountability. We deserve answers, not excuses.
