The Department of Homeland Security has mounted an extraordinary campaign to hunt for illegal voters. But the crusade has so far resulted in the Trump administration charging only about 236 people, a minuscule share of the more than 158 million ballots cast in the 2024 election. State audits and studies have repeatedly found that noncitizen voting is extremely rare in the U.S., and there have been no instances in which their votes are known to have swayed an election. In the process, some noncitizens have been caught up in a disorienting and often demeaning experience: Taken by federal agents from their homes, or ordered to turn themselves in. Portrayed as criminals by the country many of them are trying to become citizens of, with their names and faces circulating online. The New York Times contacted people whom the administration charged with violating election law. Read more about their experience at the link in our bio. Photo by Jae C. Hong/@apnews

Incumbent Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan said Tuesday that thousands of Alaskans could "throw away their vote" over confusion for another Dan Sullivan on the ballot. The GOP senator accused Democratic Senate candidate Mary Peltola and Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of devising the "scheme" and causing the "biggest cheating scandal in Alaskan history.”
What a weekend 🔥🔥🔥 Juve-Napoli
We’ve all noticed it. Somehow, every conversation finds its way back to one name. Every debate. Every discussion. Every Weekend Ka Vaar. Not because the journey has been easy… But because impact is impossible to ignore. ScoutOP wasn’t built overnight. He built himself from nothing, with consistency, sacrifice, resilience, and a heart that has always stayed true to the people who believed in him. Every high has been earned. Every low has been faced head-on. Every setback has only made him stronger. To everyone standing beside him today , thank you 🙏 This isn’t just about supporting a contestant. It’s about standing for a person who has inspired millions by never giving up, no matter how tough the road became. So let’s do what we’ve always done. Stand together. Stand louder. Stand stronger. Because storms don’t define legends. They reveal them. We stand with ScoutOP. Always. ❤️‍🔥 #ScoutArmy
