Eiji Aonuma, producer of the Zelda series at Nintendo, has said some of the younger members of his team had never played the original Ocarina of Time, but insisted that was very much a good thing for the development of the remake. Link in bio for more info.
From Halloween to Día de los Muertos I'm spending the weekend up at the cottage, where the autumn colours are fading, the leaves are falling, and things are getting decidedly quieter. But earlier last month, I had the opportunity to spend some time with a watch that couldn't be further removed from the muted colours of a Canadian autumn. Enter the MIDO Multifort TV Big Date Alebrijes. Inspired by the fantastical creatures of Mexican folk art, alebrijes are wonderfully imaginative creations, bursting with colour, intricate patterns, and more than a little personality. With Halloween now behind us and Día de los Muertos upon us, it seemed like the perfect time to share this colourful creation. Día de los Muertos is a celebration of life, memory, and the enduring connection between the living and those who have passed. And while alebrijes have their own distinct artistic origins, their colourful presence feels particularly appropriate at this time of year. As for the watch? Well, sometimes horology should be a little playful. A little unexpected. And perhaps even a little wild. ¡Feliz Día de Muertos! 💀🌼 #wristcheck #wristcheck #watchonmywrist #midowatches #midomultifort

Hello Friends, Have you seen the latest @heroarts My Monthly Hero Kits? Well, they are fabulous and filled with all things Christmas, and today I have the pleasure of sharing the Big Santa Die with all of you. Isn’t he just the cutest? To give you an idea of how large this die is, my card is a 5X7 and I still had to cut off his legs.😆 Don’t let the size of this die scare you. I have since seen so many amazing examples by the HA team using just part of him that I can’t wait to play with him again. I hope I have a chance before Christmas comes! 😝 Details about this card can be found on my blog! Have a great day! #heroarts #cardmaking #handmadecards #cardmakingideas #mymonthlyhero
