In the UK, we’ve got a habit. Someone does well, and the knives come out.

Tall poppy syndrome. I see it in the veteran community and the outdoor industry. I’ve probably been guilty of it myself.

Building @thrudark , I’ve heard every version:

“Too expensive.”
“Too many influencers.”
“Lost its roots.”

Here’s my answer.

Price. Kit that works at 8,000 metres isn’t cheap to make. We’d rather build it right than build it cheap.

Creators. Yes, we work with them. Climbers, adventurers, fighters, veterans. People who put the miles in. You can rent reach with paid ads. We’d rather earn it…

Roots. We were built by two blokes who did the job, and we still test kit where it matters.

And together with our community and Mission Everest, we’ve raised over £460,000 for veterans’ and children’s charities.

Criticism keeps you honest. But nobody gets lifted up by tearing someone else down.

“You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks.”

Try not to be a dog. DBAC.

Love many. Trust few.

Who’s someone in your world quietly putting the miles in? Tag them below. They might just get some kit…

Strong > Skinny 🔥😤

The biggest difference between these two physiques? FOOD!!

Both were built through intense training and discipline but learning to eat more and properly fuel my body has made such a difference. More food means more energy to push yourself in the gym and build the muscle you're working so hard for :)

Being lean year-round isn't my goal right now!!! I want to keep getting stronger and improving my physique for next season…FOOD IS FUEL 🫰😛
