I’ve traveled all over the world but never have I experienced feeling and being as overwhelmed as I felt after doing a very INTENSE 3 hour incline hike up Mount Sinai where Moses received the 10 commandments to witness a sunrise like never before! For me it wasn’t about religion or anyone’s religious beliefs rather it was something I have wanted to challenge myself to do this beautiful extreme hike that ironically I finally got to do under a FULL MOON that started at exactly 11:11pm and that was without intention but it divinely happened that way! It was definitely challenging but the light of the full moon lit the path up the mountain and helped tremendously at that hour on our 7.6 mile hike up that included 750 stairs! Not only was it very challenging to do and I struggled more than I expected at those altitudes up the mountain at that incline but I had faith and kept pushing myself to reach my goal and to know that if Moses could do it so could I. I also wanted to do it for all my loved ones I’ve lost the past few years and for ALL of Gods children and send prayers up from atop that sacred mountain and I’m happy to say, I made it! I wanted to quit half way up but I cried tears of joy and feelings that can’t be described from that MAGICAL SPIRITUAL view when I finally arrived! I am very grateful for my journey on that path I took that will forever be imbedded in my mind, heart and spirit that I’ll never forget and carry with me for eternity!
