“Once, I was so ashamed of my acne filled face, that I wouldn’t even step out of my bedroom. My skin hurt, I cried every time I washed my face, and I wished I could hide from the world.Today, I have built a space where women can feel confident, strong and free in their bodies. But this didn’t happen overnight…”

“Growing up in Dehradun, I was always the studious girl. I topped my school, got top marks in college, and by 23, I was already teaching as an assistant professor and doing my PhD. On paper, everything looked great. But inside, my health was a mess.“

“I had thyroid issues, and my periods barely came once in six months. Whenever I saw doctors, they just handed me pills and said, ‘Come back when you want to get married and have a baby.’ When the lockdown hit, my hormones went totally out of control. The medicines made me put on weight, and my face erupted with acne.“

“I felt so ashamed that I hid in my room for months. If my parents brought me food, I told them to leave the plate outside my door and go away. I just couldn’t face them. One night, tired of crying, I told myself: No one is coming to save me. I have to fix this myself.”

“I started learning aerial arts, Pilates, and pole dance. When I posted my videos online, girls flooded my inbox asking, ‘Can you teach us?’ I knew how uncomfortable regular gyms felt, where women constantly pull at their clothes, wondering who is staring.”

“So, I decided to open a big studio made only for women, run only by women. These women…they don’t come just to burn calories; they come because i

I fear I’ve entered my expensive wellness era and there’s no turning back.
Between muscle recovery, circulation support, and a much needed mental reset, my @sunhomesaunas has officially become my favorite way to romanticize recovery.

What’s your non-negotiable wellness ritual in your routine?

Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar has urged technology companies to give greater priority to Kannada-speaking candidates and local talent while hiring. Emphasising that the government will not interfere with skill-based recruitment, he said Kannadigas must have a significant share of employment opportunities in the state.

He also assured companies of government support while warning against intimidation, moral policing and the misuse of the Kannada cause for vested interests. Shivakumar said Karnataka has a large pool of talented local candidates who deserve better access to job opportunities.
