Africans across the continent are enraged following the tragic killing of 15-year-old Ghanaian teenager Javits Frimpong, who was fatally shot in the Bronx, New York. The teenager had reportedly been experiencing bullying at school, sparking conversations about the treatment of African children abroad.
Even rapper Cardi B has weighed in, condemning bullying and urging parents to teach their children kindness and respect.

The tragedy has also brought back painful memories of Damilola Taylor, a 10-year-old Nigerian boy murdered in London in 2000. Many Africans are now questioning the hostility directed at African children and calling for an end to bullying and xenophobia. #javitsfrimpong

Nine years of illness. Five major surgeries. And countless treatments.

For nine years, I have fought cancer with every bit of strength I have. Every time I thought the battle was over, I got back up, returned to work, and kept going for my family.

But today, the cancer has returned. For the seventh time.

I now need immunotherapy and chemotherapy, along with another major surgery. The cost is estimated at $120,000–$150,000, far beyond what my family and I can manage alone.

I have never asked for pity, and I am not asking for it now. I am simply asking for a chance to continue treatment, stay by my family’s side, and have another chance at life.

#Ray & #Kaleel are speaking out after RaKai accused his friend 2xCeej of stealing from him! The two claim Ceej reportedly stole from them and other members of the Clover Boys house in the past, but they kept it private.

RaKai’s mom also spoke out, sharing that they viewed Ceej as family and that the situation has been hurtful. Meanwhile, an old clip of Tylil resurfaced making similar claims about Ceej (SWIPE) ✍🏾: #TSRStaffTC
