#ICN GOA DAY1

We finished in the top 3 and earned a pro qualifier in the overall, but honestly from the judges reactions when they saw me on stage I thought the hammer was coming home this time.

Sometimes, the universe just wants you to wait, grow, and become your absolute best before giving you what you truly deserve.

I would’ve been more than satisfied with the overall win, but going from feeling like I was right there at the top to falling just short has left me with more hunger than ever.

One thing I’m proud of is that @farhanbaig1996 and I have brought a better, more conditioned package every single time I’ve stepped on stage. And that’s not changing!

I can’t wait to see what a full year of improvement brings. Better development, unreal conditioning, and a truly world class package.

Locked in. Not done yet!

I’ve heard it all.
“Vegans don’t get enough protein.”
“A doctor friend told me it’s unhealthy.”
“My friend went vegan and became weak.”
“Vegans don’t have energy.”
“But plants have life too.”
…you get the gist.

Choosing to stop hurting animals when I had the choice not to remains one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

It felt like stepping out of the Matrix, suddenly seeing individuals where I’d been taught to see food, clothing or entertainment. Lives that mattered to them, even when they meant nothing to us.

And once I saw that, the question became simple: if I can live well without hurting someone, why wouldn’t I? I remember this was on a shirt at a sanctuary I went to in Melbourne @edgarsmission where it said “if we can live happy and healthy lives without harming others, why wouldn’t we?” And I was like - hey! That makes sense.

Nobody can live a life that causes no harm. But we can keep choosing to cause less.

I feel deeply grateful that I get to dedicate so much of my life to causes close to my heart.

Happy World Vegan Day 💚

You can be eating healthy, training consistently and doing everything right… yet still struggle with a swollen, uncomfortable stomach 😔

And something I wish more women understood is that a distended tummy doesn’t automatically mean you’ve gained body fat, that your nutrition is poor… or that all your hard work has gone out the window!

There are so many things happening inside our bodies that can influence how we look and feel from one day to the next. LITERALLY!

Hormonal fluctuations, digestion, stress, food sensitivities and underlying health conditions can all play a role.

And sometimes, those things are completely outside our control.

For me personally, living with adenomyosis and endometriosis means abdominal swelling and discomfort can be part of my reality, even when I’m doing everything I can to look after myself.

As you can see in the photo above…

I have happy tummy days, and then I have painful, bad tummy days.

But one thing I’ve learned is that while I can’t always control what my body does .. I CAN control how I choose to support it.

And for me, nutrition and training are a big part of that.

I’ve become much more mindful of how I train, how I recover and what foods I eat.

I’m also much more intentional about supporting my digestion and gut health.

Not because I believe food can cure every underlying issue, but because making the right adjustments can sometimes help alleviate symptoms and make everyday life a little more comfortable.

Because nutrition isn’t just about losing body fat or building muscle. It’s also about how you FEEL.

I’ve tried many diets in my time, and that’s one of the reasons I teamed up with my partner to build our nutrition coaching app Meal Engine.

I don’t believe there’s a one-size-fits-all approach when it comes to nutrition.

And that’s something we’ve taken into consideration when developing our approach to nutrition coaching.

Because what works for one person might not work for another.

We all have different goals, lifestyles, preferences and nutritional needs.

So, we created an adaptive coaching app that can create a custom plan specifically for YOU 🫶
