To the woman that always gives, sacrifices, and has made this world a better place for my tribe:
In the Bible it says to honor your Father and your Mother, so that you may live long and last month we did just that.
My siblings, beautiful sister in law and I had the privilege of celebrating my mother Roselyn Iwuh’s 60th birthday party with 600+ of her closest friends and loved ones. It was an honor to give my mother her flowers by throwing her an extravagant party to match her extravagant impact on all of our lives.
Like my family always says, in Iwuh Nation if you cant do it BIG don’t even do it and it definitely was an Iwuh Nation extravaganza. From the top tier custom decorations, saxophonist playing Igbo music and Afrobeats all night and the live drummer that shut down the spot, plus the open bar pouring top shelf drinks all night — you would’ve thought you were in club Iwuh!
Nothing beats the genuine smiles my mother displayed all night and she came through with the looks hunty! In all, I’m so grateful for my village and the hundreds of the people that came out and celebrated a true QUEEN. Life is too short not to tell loved ones you love them or hug them when you see them, or even show appreciation and gratitude. Let this be a reminder to love on the ones who love you. Cheers to Mama Iwuh!
