🌟 MEMBER SPOTLIGHT 🌟 Amanda Moore, Vice President of Property Management at Brennan Investment Group, and one of our chapter’s newest CPM®s, entered property management as a tenant services coordinator for medical office buildings. She says enjoyed the social aspect and the day-to-day dealings with tenants and vendors and was hooked. She relocated to IL recently and knew real estate was the career for her. Amanda saw IREM as a way to expand her network and it really has.
Receiving the CPM certification has given value to her personally and her new skills will certainly enhance Brennan’s overall operations. Amanda says that the movement towards digital technology with digital contracts, Zoom/Teams meetings, digital signatures and the like has been the biggest change she has seen since entering the industry.
Amanda offers the advice to those looking to the CPM Track to “find a mentor that is invested in your career path as well as their own. Someone to go on your journey with. It makes a world of difference.”
Fun fact about Amanda: She recently took over making our family’s 100-year-old Italian sausage after her uncle retired the business. She said it’s fun to keep the tradition going even if it is just for her family’s enjoyment.
