The first moment back in time: my very first van trip in Belgium.
Looking back on this short week brings up mixed emotions and memories. I remember the euphoria of freedom, the deep connection to nature and to myself. For a few days I experienced wonder and beauty. But I’m also reminded of the difficulty that followed. My physical health plummeted. All the freedom I had gained was lost again. This new life that I thought I had created was no more. But, luckily more did follow.
