13 years in this sport. And I finally get to hold this. πŸ† I’m so used to looking at photos of myself and finding something that needs improving. Looking at these, I want to give myself a moment before I start doing that again. I remember how badly I wanted to be in this position. The shows I left disappointed. Going home, questioning myself, then deciding to try again without knowing how it would end. Yesterday, I finally earned my IFBB Pro card. And today, I want to let myself be happy about it. Celebrate with my wife. Read your messages. Thank the people who believed in me through the preparations that didn’t end like this. I’m still figuring out what comes next. There are questions I was asking myself before this show that I don’t have all the answers to yet. But I don’t need to figure everything out today. Today, I’m proud of myself. And grateful I get to share this moment with my wife @paulina.smag πŸ₯‚

What makes a story unforgettable? Sometimes, it is the courage to ask questions, explore the unfamiliar, and find meaning in the moments others overlook. In this edition of MERI & RIME, we feature Joy Ibrahem(@joy.ibrahem ), a Dubai-based digital creator whose approach to storytelling is shaped by curiosity, authenticity, and creative experimentation. From fashion and beauty to human experiences and cinematic storytelling, Joy reflects on building an original creative identity, connecting with audiences beyond numbers, and navigating the evolving world of digital influence. Looking ahead, she shares her ambitions to create memorable films and establish a production company where bold ideas can flourish without creative compromise. A conversation about individuality, creative independence, and the freedom to tell stories that truly resonate. Peter Beinart says Congresswoman Haley Stevens has joined the β€œmost racist campaign I have ever seen.” Stevens decided to endorse the republican candidate in Michigan’s senate race, instead of her fellow democrat Abdul El-Sayed, accusing El-Sayed of not condemning an ad critical of Israel. The ad was not made by El-Sayed and has already said he does not agree with it.
The American people have made clear that they cannot afford life under Trump and Republicans. The Senate Democratic Majority will fight to make life affordable again.
