Children aren't meant to be inside a box....
A sentence we try to live at heart raising this little monkey! 🙈 Eloïse hates to be tied up, since the very beginning... In her car chair, the buggy even the bed... She'll only accept buckles in her carry bag, because she knows that that's where the adventure begins, when we go OUTSIDE!
It's a challenge I must admit, a free child's means a more aware parent. Aware of her whereabouts, aware of the dangers around here, aware of the things that could go wrong, aware of every move she makes. Aware of how she sees and experiences the world 😍 and therefore also a lot of TRUST! Trusting that's she's capable of interacting with her environment, trusting that she's capable of using her body, trusting that she tries to do things safe. And in that whole process we get amazed time and again how much she CAN do! How comfortable she is in her body, in nature and in the world ☀️
And in all these challenges that come with being outside with Eloïse lie the greatest gifts, lessons and memories ❣️
Raising kids is a marathon, taking them outside gives you that little push in the back, extra power. The effort you put in taking them out, pays you back immediately, as it is so much easier to raise them outdoors! It's one big playground and they entertain themselves! 🙌🏼
I hate how much time it cost me to make this real 😅 but I felt the audio so deeply I wanted to crystalize it with our holiday memories. ✨
