HU Staff: Jamal Osborne @_j.osborne Olivier Martinez is asking a judge to order his ex-wife, Halle Berry, to pay $240,000 in legal fees connected to their ongoing custody dispute over their 13-year-old son, Maceo. ___________________________________________________ In court documents obtained by TMZ, Martinez claims he can no longer afford the costs of the legal battle. He is asking Berry to cover both his unpaid bills and anticipated future expenses related to the case. ___________________________________________________ According to his income and expense declaration, Martinez earns an average of just $776.34 per month in residual payments. He says he currently owes $176,522.58 in unpaid legal fees and is seeking an additional $63,477.42 to cover future litigation costs. Martinez also reported estimated monthly expenses of $17,555.99, along with $43,206.22 held across various accounts. His filing argues that Berry has greater financial resources and should be required to contribute to his legal expenses. ___________________________________________________ Click the link in bio for full story 📸 Getty Images

Some evenings leave you feeling inspired long after they’re over. So honoured to have been invited to Grand Cru in support of @UHNFoundation - thank you to @one.twenty.eight for introducing me to their work. What made this evening so special wasn’t just the incredible food, wine and setting, but the opportunity to celebrate and connect with the people behind the impact - the generous donors, brilliant scientists and researchers, and the many individuals who are helping advance the future of health care. To sit alongside people who are making such a meaningful difference in the lives of others was truly inspiring. It was a beautiful reminder that behind every breakthrough, every clinical trial and every advancement in patient care, there are people who believe in making a difference. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this unforgettable evening possible and to UHN for including me in such a meaningful celebration. The work being done at University Health Network is extraordinary, and I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to experience firsthand the passion and generosity that help make it possible. 🗳️ You can budget down to the last penny, but you can’t budget your way out of every policy decision. And a reminder: Don’t confuse party loyalty with political literacy. A letter next to someone’s name is not a résumé or moral checkmark. Research the people on your ballot. Look at their records, their policies, and the decisions they’ve made. A familiar party label doesn’t tell you everything you need to know. Because financial literacy and political literacy go hand in hand! It means understanding not just where your money goes, but who has the power to influence how much of it you get to keep. 😉 ⏰ NEW YORKERS: Polls close at 9 PM TONIGHT! If you’re in line by 9, you can still vote. Check your state’s polling hours if you’re voting elsewhere. 📌And because taking ownership of your financial future doesn’t end at the ballot box, comment BUDGET for our FREE guide to making more intentional financial decisions.
