Happy Birthday to @joembr who provided the hands for the artwork of our first EP. Those that don’t know we do actually have more songs! 7 quite varied and mixed songs which helped us to get to the sound that we have now. Give them a listen. Let us know what you think. It’s certainly different it’s certainly raw. Lots of our different styles came together in this one and we ended up starting to piece together what it was that worked well with our current iteration. But mostly just send Joe, the Hog your love. Xxx

Elizabeth Holmes told TODAY in 2016 that she had "no doubt" her company Theranos would survive.

The company sought to revolutionize blood testing, partnering with Walgreens to offer fast in-store blood tests for more than 20 diseases at a cheaper price than what they traditionally cost, due to secret technology. In a conversation with Maria Shriver, Holmes addressed questions that emerged about her product’s accuracy.

Accusations came out that Theranos’ technology was faulty and Holmes was convicted in 2022 of four federal charges of wire fraud for misrepresenting to investors what the Theranos technology could do.

Now, the documentary “You Can See Everything” has brought Holmes back to the public eye.

Winners up and down the 2026 ballot will make history this year, with voters electing the first Black woman governor, the first Muslim elected to the US Senate and the first out gay male US senator.

As President Donald Trump takes on the latter half of his second term, both parties will welcome a diverse group of newly elected lawmakers at the state and national level.

Class is in session for A History of Design. Lesson two: the Georgians 🏛️

Strap yourselves into your corsets, because we’re heading back to 1714–1830 to explore the era of symmetry, proportion, sash windows and fireplaces that refuse to be overlooked.
From grand Georgian architecture and floor-to-ceiling panelling to the early influence of Thomas Chippendale, dado rails (which, FYI, had rather practical origins) and those deliciously moody historic paint colours. All of which goes some way to explaining why Georgian interiors feel so effortlessly right.

And yes, this is a LONG one. We’re going long-form, baby. Ever heard of it?! 😜 I jest, but I do worry about what all these short and snappy reels are doing to our attention spans, so here’s a healthy 2 minutes and 30 seconds of interior design nerdiness. You’re welcome.

Give me a 🏛️ in the comments if you made it to the end, and thank you again, for indulging me in a little history lesson.

Next lesson: arches. Class dismissed.
