The Ravens are in “deep discussions” to trade for Bengals QB Joe Flacco as they look for their starter for the rest of the season.

Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley were forced out of their game yesterday with injuries, making a Flacco reunion in Baltimore very intimate.

For most of Donald Trump’s second term, pundits have assumed that Republicans’ seemingly impregnable Senate map had the edge over Democrats’ lead in national polls.

Now, with election day here, betting markets and other quantitative forecasts all make Democrats clear favourites to flip the upper chamber.

Our prediction model is a substantial outlier. We see the race for the Senate as almost a pure coin toss, giving Democrats a mere 52% chance of gaining control.

The Economist’s forecast does, however, give Democrats a 93% chance of flipping the House, with an average simulated majority of 234 seats to 201 for the Republicans.

What do you think the outcome will be for the two chambers? Tap the link in our bio to explore the data in our prediction model.

UK Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has announced that care workers already living and working in the UK won’t have to face a 15-year wait to stay permanently.

Indefinite leave to remain gives people who have come to the UK from abroad the right to live, work and study in the UK.
