British workers are increasingly disengaged from their jobs and have become less willing to go the extra mile to help their employer, according to a survey that lends substance to claims that productivity has suffered from a wave of so-called ‘quiet quitting’ in the aftermath of the pandemic.

One-in-four workers were not even ‘fairly’ satisfied with their main job — the gloomiest in the survey’s 35-year history and up from one in five when the question was last asked in 2015.

All day today, energy crews and specialists from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine have been working in Dnipro, in Kyiv and the region, as well as in our other cities and communities, dealing with the aftermath of Russian strikes and restoring power. Every day, unfortunately, they hit our energy infrastructure, causing extensive damage. Russia’s operation against our power generation, our energy grids, and our energy interconnections continues.

Today, Russian ballistic missiles also struck the Poltava region. Kremenchuk. Our oil refining infrastructure was targeted. The Russians have not taken a single step toward energy de-escalation. They continue to carry out terrorist strikes against our cities. We will also act accordingly and entirely justly.

We continue working with all our partners on air defense and F-16 ammunition. We’re preparing new decisions in the near future. I thank everyone who’s really helping. Important negotiations will take place in Türkiye. We’re also working to make the most of every diplomatic opportunity available to us. We expect to be able to move forward in November with the formats that have been discussed for so long.
