Sadly yesterday we had to say goodbye to Dinky after she suffered a vary bad bout of colic 💔 She was 26 years old and the sweetest, most gentle, dainty little pony… in her mellow old age anyway. I remember when I first met her she was a fiesty little mare with a habit of pinning her ears and charging like a bull at anyone who was coming to catch her 🤣 She had been retired the past few years but before that, she worked and lived here with us since 2008 doing the pony rides and lessons, giving hundreds of children the experience of the joy of horse riding. She was always together with her little bestie Harmony, two old little mares always by each other’s side. Thank you for everything Dinky, we will remember you fondly 🤎🕊️
