If I have one thing to teach women on election night, it’s this… #midterms #electionnight #hairhack

Dear black people, now that the democrats control the majority in both houses of congress, as well as a majority of the governors, for the first time since Obama, there are zero excuses now for there not to be a focus on the black agenda. The good thing about this is you all have two years before the presidential election to observe and measure just what, if anything, the democrat party will do for black people. Let’s see if Congress finally approves a serious and meaningful reparations bill, an anti-black hate crimes bill, criminal justice bill, anti-gentrification bill, police brutality bill, etc. Nolan Wells and Rasheem Carter better get serious federal investigations into their cases now demanded by both congressional committees on the judiciary. Remember, Congress makes the laws, not Trump.

Let’s see if all these new democratic governors do anything to address miseducation, mass incarceration, police genocide, gentrification and economic/employment apartheid in their states. We know the lgbtq and immigrant agendas will be reinstated, but what will black people get out of it is the question that needs to be answered. Stop celebrating elections and start focusing on concrete measurable gains for our people. I’m not too optimistic, the democrats won white people and Latinos back, the two largest voter groups in the country, they did it by promising black people nothing, so don’t expect any real change in policy as they want to hold on to those voters for the 2028 election.

A moment of elegance before the world stage.

Captured for the press conference of Victoria Kosasieputri @vkosasie ahead of her departure to represent Indonesia at Miss International 2026 in Japan.

Dressed in a romantic couture creation, the look celebrates the beauty of femininity through a sculpted blush-pink corset, intricate embellishments, delicate floral appliqués, and exquisite embroidery. The silhouette embraces the softness of a blooming flower, while its intricate craftsmanship brings a sense of timeless elegance and modern sophistication.

A beautiful expression of artistry, where fashion becomes more than what we wear — it becomes a story, an emotion, and an identity.

Wishing Vicky all the best as she carries Indonesia’s pride, beauty, and spirit onto the international stage. 🇮🇩

No one talks about how hard it is having an aging parent you can’t take care of yourself. That’s why I partnered with Home Instead. Their Care Pros provide more than 60 million hours of care a year in homes across the US and Canada. The end of my father’s life would have looked a lot different if he was able to leave his dreaded nursing home and simply age in place at his own home that he loved and felt safe in. Your loved ones can live comfortably at home thanks to their heavily vetted and fully trained Care Pros that provide quality care. Home Instead is a beautiful alternative for living on your terms.
