Relatable 😂 Travis Tritt became one of the defining voices of ’90s country music, bringing a Southern rock edge and rebellious attitude to a genre rooted in tradition. He broke through with his 1990 debut album, “Country Club,” featuring hits like “Help Me Hold On” and the title track. With his gritty vocals, blues-inspired guitar work, and unmistakable Southern sound, Tritt quickly established himself as one of the standout artists of his generation. Tritt went on to deliver classics like “Here’s a Quarter (Call Someone Who Cares),” “T-R-O-U-B-L-E,” and “It’s a Great Day to Be Alive,” earning multiple Grammy Awards and becoming a major force in country music. As part of the legendary class of ’89 alongside artists like Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, and Clint Black, he helped define one of the genre’s most successful eras. Decades later, Tritt’s music continues to resonate with fans who appreciate country music with a little extra rock and roll attitude. #country
What a brilliant piece of telly. Not sure I’ve ever said that. Gambling is a cynical, dirty business, it makes its owners incredibly rich while exploiting people and ruining lives. It dominates football now. At Forest Green Rovers we refuse to take gambling sponsorship - and promote the work of ‘Gambling with Lives’ instead. Gambling is hyper normalised by the exposure football clubs and TV channels give it - it’s a toxic combo. We should end it, just as tobacco sponsorship was ended, decades ago.

I don’t think I’ve ever shared this, but my whole life, I was told I would do something with my hands. They’re my mother’s hands, after all, and that’s something I don’t take lightly. Maybe, in some ways, that led me to jewelry. Or maybe jewelry was always written in the stars-but somehow, I landed here, with my hands being the main focus of my work. And the irony makes me smile. It begs the question: Do we shape our reality, or does our reality shape us? Each piece I create holds a story, just like the hands that wear them. They carry weight in both meaning and metal, making them worthy of being passed down through generations. That was always the idea… creating with the future in mind. As I look down at my hands now, I see chapped skin, sunspots starting to pop up, chipped nails, and dirt ground into every crease. I see the hands of a woman who cares more about keeping animals fed, stalls clean, and food growing from dense soil than manicures and perfect polish. And I wouldn’t have it any other way. In the end, it all becomes part of you, your story and the path you choose, or the one that chooses you🤍
