Automated composition of nocturnal building-soundscapes.
(Old Museum, New Museum, Berliner Dom, German Historical Museum, State Secretary Building GDR, Friedrichswerder Church).

During the residency @filmexplorer.ch / @fieldstations_ev last November, Alexander Heil had the unique opportunity to record the nocturnal soundscapes of six monumental buildings on the Museums Insel at the Center of Berlin: "From these recordings, I created a DAW setup that generates constant and randomly oscillating intensities of the overlapping building soundscapes, thus suggesting a sonic network of these spaces".
