White House Reminds Americans Trump Is Still in Office After Democrats Sweep Midterms

The official White House social media account shared a photo of Trump leaning forward over the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, staring directly into the camera with both hands planted firmly on the desk.

Across the image, large white letters read, “PSA: TRUMP IS STILL YOUR PRESIDENT.”

The caption was just as direct: “Thank you for your attention to this matter.”

The post arrived after a devastating election night for Republicans, with Democrats winning control of both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The results marked a major shift in Washington and threatened to complicate Trump’s agenda during the remaining two years of his term.

While the White House did not explicitly mention the election results in its post, the timing was impossible to overlook. Democrats had just secured significant victories in races across the country, including several states and districts that Republicans previously controlled.

The November 3 elections saw Democrats make gains in traditional Republican territory, with victories in states including Texas, Iowa, Kansas, and South Carolina. The party also flipped numerous House districts, securing enough seats to take back the chamber.

This was a calm storm that I hit him with…. He never even saw it coming 😂😂😂😂 He came in hot with what he thought was a banger of an idea and an attack…. I casually looked my target up and down and then made a decision to politely attack…. Snapping is an art… being loud is extremely amateur…. Snapping calmly with precision is professional…. I hit him so hard that he stopped his interview…. His lips also got extremely dry and he developed a large amount of that white stuff in the corner of his mouth 😂😂😂😂😂
