Why remove the front panels of this car? I could understand if it was a car that was actually worth money but that? I don't get it?

I was in Birmingham last month and parked in the Q-Park rather than risk this happening to my car

Left the plate as it’s easier to identify the parts if they get stopped up the road. 🤷♂️
